Ten Student-Athletes earn NJCAA Academic Awards
Ten student-athletes from Genesee Community College were recently named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Academic Student-Athlete Award winners for the 2012-2013 academic year.
Ten student-athletes from Genesee Community College were recently named National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Academic Student-Athlete Award winners for the 2012-2013 academic year.
The following Genesee student-athletes have earned Region III Academic All-Region honors. To be recieve the honor the student-athletes must have completed a minimum 45 credit hours and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.50 or better. Way to go Cougars!!
On Friday evening Genesee Community College held its annual Awards Banquet to honor the contributions and achievements of its students. Below are the student-athletes who were honored for their excellence in athletics and physical education.

Genesee Community College Cougarettes Dance Team recently returned from a National Dance Alliance (NDA) Collegiate Camp in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The team not only learned new techniques and choreography, but also danced away with many awards and recognitions. The Cougarettes were the only two-year community college represented and competed against highly competitive Division I dance teams.
